Product Description

PANOVF® Rock Wool blanket is a flexible insulation product designed for a wide range of general insulation applications.
It is available in either folded or roll form, which makes it easy to install over large areas.
Manufactured in various thicknesses, this rock wool blanket is highly suitable for thermal insulation in residential, commercial,
and industrial buildings.
Panovf Rock Wool Roll finds extensive multi-purpose uses in pitch roofs, attics, ceilings, suspended ceilings,
and other structures where load-bearing insulation mats are not necessary.
It can be used as a single-layer insulation solution for the thermal insulation of external structures.
For instance, it can be applied in pitch roofs or placed between the rafters in attics.

Application

Thermal insulation, fire prevention, sound absorption and noise reduction for large-scale pipe networks, large-scale storage tanks, containers, boilers and air ducts. It is especially suitable for use in places with high temperatures and vibrations, or places with high fire-prevention requirements.

 

• In the construction field:
  For external wall and roof insulation in buildings, rock wool blankets can effectively block heat transfer, reducing the energy consumption of heating and cooling in buildings. For example, they keep buildings warm in winter in northern regions and insulated from heat in summer in southern regions. It can also be used for sound insulation of interior walls. In places like KTVs and recording studios, it reduces sound transmission and creates a quiet environment. In terms of building fire prevention, due to its non - combustibility, it can prevent the spread of fire, buying time for evacuation and fire fighting and rescue.
• In the industrial field:
  For pipeline insulation, rock wool blankets can be wrapped around various hot and cold pipelines to prevent heat or cold loss and reduce energy waste. This is applicable to steam pipelines and refrigeration pipelines in chemical enterprises, for instance. In some industrial workshops with strict fire - prevention requirements, rock wool blankets can be used as fire - separating materials.
• In shipbuilding and automotive manufacturing:
  In shipbuilding, rock wool blankets are used for heat insulation, sound insulation, and fire prevention of the ship's hull, ensuring a comfortable temperature environment in the cabin, reducing noise interference, and enhancing the safety of the ship.

Q:  What are the characteristics of Rock wool and Glass wool?
A:  (1) Rock wool can withstand up to 1000°C (1800°F), while fiberglass melts at around 600°C (1100°F).
(2) Rock wool density: 40 - 200 kg/m³ . Glass wool density: 8 - 100 kg/m³.
(3) Rock wool: blanket sizes like 0.6m×5m, 1.2m×5m etc.; board sizes 1.2m×0.6m, 1.2m×2.4m etc.
Glass wool: blanket sizes 1.2m×30m, 1.2m×15m etc.; board sizes 1.2m×0.6m, 1.2m×2.3m etc.
(4) Applications: Rock wool is used in civil, commercial, industrial and agricultural sectors. Glass wool is mainly for civil and commercial buildings.
