PANOVF® Rock Wool blanket is a flexible blanket designed for general insulation applications and
is supplied in folded or roll form for ease of installation over large areas.
It is manufactured in a variety of thicknesses, suitable for thermal insulation in residential,
commercial and industrial buildings.

Panovf Rock Wool Rolls offers a wide range of multi-purpose usage in pitch roofs, attics, ceilings,
suspended ceilings and other constructions where no load-bearing insulation mats are required.
It may be used as single-layer insulation for thermal insulation of external structures,
such as in pitch roofs and inserted between rafters in attics.

Q:  Which are characteristics for Rock wool and Glass wool?
A:  (1)Rock wool can withstand temperatures up to 1000° C (1800° F), fiberglass melts is around 600° C (1100° F).
(2)Rock wool density range: 30-200 kg/m3, and special type is up to 560 kg/m3;
    Glass wool density range: 8-100 kg/m3, and special type is up to 300 kg/m3;
(3)Rock wool blanket size: 0.6m*5m, 1.2m*5m etc. Board size: 1.2m*0.6, 1.2m*2.4m etc. Glass wool blanket size: 1.2m*30m,         1.2m*15m etc. Board size: 1.2m*0.6m, 1.2m*2.3m etc.
(4)Applications: Rock wool is widely used in civil, commercial, industrial and agricultural areas;
    For glass wool, it is mostly used in civil, commercial buildings;
    some is used in industrial area with lower temperature condition.

A:  For glass wool & rock mineral wool for soundproofing and acoustics, glass wool is superior because of its longer fiber length. It's widely used as fiberglass ceiling, wall panel, suspended baffle with better acoustic performance for lower frequencies. Rock wool can also be used for as rock wool ceiling, wall panel when higher fireproof performance is needed.
